The 2026-2027 School Year Parking Permit application process has closed.  We are no longer accepting applications.

Informations sur les permis de stationnement

Les étudiants titulaires d'un permis de stationnement doivent respecter les conditions suivantes :

• Garez-vous sur le parking VERT (côté ouest du MHS) ou dans la zone réservée aux élèves du parking ROUGE. 
• Always display your permit with the right side facing out from your rearview mirror.
• Vous ne pouvez ni vendre ni céder votre permis.
• Les autorisations ne sont valables que si elles ont été délivrées par le service des ressources étudiantes. 
• Permits sold to a student are for use by that student only.  All students involved in the purchase and subsequent resale of a permit or using a permit that does not belong to them will be disciplined. 
• La falsification de permis peut entraîner une contravention, la perte des droits de stationnement et/ou une suspension. 
• Les élèves de deuxième année ne sont pas autorisés à détenir un permis ni à en être en possession.
• Students must update Student Resources within 5 days of receiving new license plates or a new vehicle. 

Violations* for parking include:

• Absence d'affichage de votre permis de stationnement.
• Parking in the staff lots (purple,orange,blue) or first 11 spaces of each row in the red lot.
• Parking in visitor or volunteer parking -these are marked with signs. 
• Se garer sur l'herbe, sur le trottoir ou s'approprier une place de stationnement. Bloquer les allées. 
• Parking at Pagel Activity Center- this is separate from MHS. Cars can be ticketed/ towed by Pagel.

Parking violations will be issued daily. If a student was issued a parking permit, but the permit is not displayed and/or the student is parked where they should not be, fees will be assessed:

• 1 billet - 11 $
• 2 Ticket - $22
• 3 Ticket - $33 + Parking Detention & email/call home to parents
• 4 Ticket - $44 + All carpool participants Lose Permit for 1 or more weeks

Carte de stationnement journalière

If you would like to purchase a daily pass, use RevTrak.

• Passes are $6 per day.
• Students can buy up to three Daily Parking Passes per week.
• Daily Parking Passes are only good for parking in the LOWER lot by the Einer Football Field/dome, yellow on the map. Parking in any other lot will result in a ticket.
• Vous n'avez rien à afficher dans votre voiture. Votre nom, votre numéro d'immatriculation et les informations relatives à votre véhicule, tels qu'ils figurent sur votre commande en ligne, seront communiqués à notre gardien de parking.
• Si vous fournissez des informations erronées ou incomplètes concernant votre véhicule, vous risquez de recevoir une contravention.
• Daily Passes are available for purchase on Fridays at 12 p.m. the week before they are needed.

Infractions/Amendes

Si un étudiant est garé sur le campus sans avoir obtenu de permis ni acheté de ticket de stationnement journalier, ou s'il est garé à un endroit interdit, les frais s'élèvent à :

• 1 billet - 22 $
• 2 billets - 33 $  
• 3 tickets* - $44 +  Boot Car* if necessary ( +$33), Parking Detention & call home to parents
• 4 tickets* - $44 + Your car can be towed at your expense

Voitures verbalisées / Sabots

Si vous recevez une contravention pour votre voiture, consultez Skyward pour connaître le montant de l'amende. Il se peut qu'elle n'apparaisse pas sur votre compte avant 48 heures. Les contraventions peuvent être réglées en personne au service de la trésorerie ou en ligne via Skyward/Fee Management.

*If you are repeatedly parking in the MHS lot without a permit, and we do not have your car registered, we may boot it. The removal fee is $30. in addition to any tickets you were issued previously.

**If you repeatedly receive tickets in the MHS lot your car may be towed at your expense.

Informations sur le parc de stationnement

For the 2026-2027 school year, we prioritized permit distribution through a pool process. The process is outlined below. The cost for a permit is $330. per carpool.

• Pool 1:    4 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 2:    3 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 3:    2 licensed Junior or Senior drivers or a combination of the two*
• Pool 4:    Senior Individual (if available by lottery**) 

*The parking permit process only counts Junior or Senior students with their driver's license as of September 1, 2026 as carpool members for a designated pool. Only students who are full time for both semesters are eligible for a parking permit.  Full time online students are not eligible for permits or to be listed on a carpool. Students who receive a parking permit are not eligible to ride the bus and will be removed from the bus list.

**If available, The lottery will be a random drawing of individual senior applicants corresponding to the number of available spots. Seniors, who choose to apply individually, are not guaranteed a Parking Permit. In previous years, not all seniors who applied received a solo permit.  Juniors are not eligible for solo passes and will be denied.

At MHS, carpooling is the key to success for parking, as we rely on this system to maximize the number of students we can accommodate.  Many of our students are heavily involved in activities and have unique schedules, therefore students that make arrangements to carpool are prioritized as we distribute permits.  We have a limited number of parking spaces and carpooling allows us to optimize the use of our lot. We are unable to prioritize individual permits for students based on schedules, activities, work or living out of district. 

Please note: The Parking Permit is for only 1 vehicle on campus at a time. Take a look at your before and after-school activities so you are able to make your carpool work. If more than one vehicle is needed at MHS, please purchase a Daily Pass ($6.) and park in the lower lot by the Einer Football Field.

The School District does provide transportation based on the criteria and information on the district's transportation website.
